Welcome to Le Murier

Le Murier School Guernsey

The aim of Le Murier School is to enable students to be active, productive members of the community and be fully included within society.

We create an environment where everyone has equal value and opportunity, and where all develop positive attitudes and essential knowledge and skills to become life-long learners. By providing a breadth of experiences, we enable our students to make choices, live as independently as possible, understand the world they live in and recognise and manage change.

Head Teacher

"Welcome to Le Murier School. My name is Lee Collier. I have worked at Le Murier (and the former Oakvale School) for the past eleven years as Head of Department for Sensory & Communication as well as, in more recent years, Deputy Head. Prior to Guernsey I trained and worked within a Specialist College in North London for seven years. The school has evolved greatly within that time, and I hope that, with the support of the staff team, students and parents/carers to continue to develop and improve the learning opportunities, achievements and attainments for all.
